Services on this site are provided by Steven Palmieri, Dallas, Texas. Reading these pages leaves you a reader of general words. The boundary named on the disclosures page travels with these terms.
The pages are general reading. A tax rule can land differently on your facts, so confirm anything that would change the return before you act on a paragraph you read here.
The first conversation.
That opening conversation creates no engagement and no duty that continues on its own. We will describe what we see in the months you describe. We will say if the months already look finished. Money work starts only after both of you sign a writing that names the scope and the fee.
The close can only go as far as the records you send. If the bank and the books disagree, that month stays open and we tell you before anyone calls it done. An open month is left out of the return until the bank and the books report the same cash.
The pages themselves.
The words and the pictures here belong to the practice. You may read them and quote a short line with credit. Copying a page for republication is not allowed.
A dispute about these terms is heard under Texas law. The phone in the footer is the first place to raise a problem with a page.
What a fee covers
The writing that starts the work names the months to close, whether payroll setup is included, and whether the return is included. A website cannot see how far behind the months are, so a website does not name your fee.
If the scope changes because more months are open than the first note said, we say so before the extra work begins. You can stop before you sign.
