Where the photographs came from

Every picture on this site was composed for these pages. Each one uses a different photograph. A pale panel on the left carries type at a size a stranger can read, and that panel stays light enough that the photograph is still visible. A sky bar sits on the top edge. No picture is a second crop of another picture on this site.

Brodie319 released the Dealey Plaza photograph under The books into the public domain. Michael Barera made the glass towers under The close and under The return, both used under CC BY-SA 4.0. Steve Rainwater made the line at Pecan Lodge under Payroll, used under CC BY-SA 2.0. padrinan made the open notebook under Open months. cromaconceptovisual made the notebook under Closed months. msandersmusic made the stained glass under A question.

IcedCowboyCoffee released the Fair Park midway photograph under The fair into the public domain. Drumguy8800 made the Bishop Arts brick street under Bishop Arts, used under CC BY-SA 3.0. Michael Barera made the Deep Ellum neon sign under Deep Ellum and the Deep Ellum station train under Privacy, both used under CC BY-SA 4.0. Faith made the skyline photographed from Reunion Tower under The terms, used under CC BY-SA 3.0.

grafmex made the cup under Your question. JessBaileyDesign made the blank notebook under The person and the glasses under Access. fancycrave1 made the mug under The note. JMstudiopro made the cup under The line. The same Pixabay author made the blue cup under Reports and the two cups under Outside. stevepb made the white cup under Credits. Those Pixabay files sit on these pages under that service's content license.

The Steven Palmieri mark on the forms belongs to Steven and his team. It is not part of the photograph set. If a credit on this page is missing or pointed at the wrong picture, use the form and name the page.

Type on the panel is large on purpose. A stranger should be able to read the words without squinting, and the words should say what the page is about. If they do not, that is a credit problem and a picture problem, and both can be fixed. The page URL in the source note is how you trace a photograph back to the person who made it.
