Certified Public Accountant Dallas AlternativeQuestions before the first call

Bring the question you actually have. The open month comes first, and a price waits until we have seen how many months are still unfinished.

How far behind is too far

There is no prize for being current and no scolding for being behind. There is only a different amount of work. Name the month you would still stand behind. We will tell you what catching up looks like, in months and in attention, before anyone talks about a price.

Some years have one open month. Some have a stack. A stack can still be walked, oldest first. We say if the walk is longer than a single season. You should hear that before you sign, not after.

If you are current and you simply want the rhythm kept, say that. Keeping a good month good is a different job from rebuilding a bad year. Both are work we do. They are not the same scope.

Who you will talk to

You will talk to the Steven Palmieri practice. The month you name on this page remains unfinished until the deposit total matches the book. The open month on this page is the one Steven Palmieri reads with you, in the role of Tax CFO and the Entrepreneur's CFO, before anyone prepares the return. The first call is with us, not with a switchboard that has not read your note.

You still approve payday and you still sign the return. We do not stand in for you. We show up with the months ready to be read, and we stay for the questions the pages raise.

When a lender or a buyer asks for an opinion we cannot sign, you hear that in the first conversation, not after a month of work. That limit is written on the page about what we do not sign. It is not a surprise saved for the engagement.

Hail on a spring afternoon

Spring hail is a week every Texan knows, and we still want that week's deposits named while people are talking about the roof.

A storm week has odd receipts, closed hours, and a story everyone tells. The story is not the books. The deposits are. We enjoy knowing the weather the way you do. Then we ask whether the week has a category before the next blue sky makes it feel ordinary.

The same habit covers a convention week, a fair week, or a week the shop was dark. If one week is the worry, put that week in the note. We will begin with it.

What the fee covers, and what it does not

The writing that starts the work names the months to close, whether payroll setup is included, and whether the return is included. Until that writing exists, there is no fee and no ongoing duty. Reading this page does not hire us.

If the scope grows because more months are open than you thought, we say so before the extra work begins. You can stop. A clear no is a fine outcome of a first call.

We do not quote a number on the site because we have not seen the months. Anyone who quotes one from a headline is guessing. We would rather be slow and specific.

Questions that are really about the work

If your question is what a finished month contains, start with the monthly close. If it is about the return, the estimates, or an extension, that page is the longer answer. If it is about who signs what, the limit page is the one to read before you call.

If your question is personal to the year you are in, use the form. Tell us the month and the worry. We read the note ourselves. The number under the signoff reaches this same practice when a call is easier than the form.

A messy note is fine. A blank one gives us nothing to sort. Write the month and the worry in whatever order they come.

Your question

Write the question in a sentence, and say which month is still open.
